Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,040 per week

Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit assignment in Glenview, Illinois. The role begins June 15, 2026 and lasts 13 weeks. The assignment requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

The CVICU RN will administer medication, check vital signs, and alert physicians to any significant changes. Responsibilities also include acting as a liaison between doctors and patients, educating families on patient care, and ensuring daily patient recovery.

• Administer care for patients following open‑heart surgery.
• Provide treatment and care for heart transplant patients.
• Educate the patient’s family on ongoing needs and care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certification.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care CVICU setting.
