Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $1,826 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN - CVICU Travel Nurse

We are seeking a travel nurse RN in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a 13‑week assignment in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. This is a 36‑hour per week, 12‑hour night shift position.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with potentially life‑threatening heart conditions.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
• Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate those tests.
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
• Be called in for emergencies to provide CPR and operate defibrillators hospital‑wide.
• Educate patients and family members on how to manage recovery at home.

Requirements

• Specialty: CVICU
• Discipline: RN
• Recent acute care experience: 1‑2 years
• BLS and ACLS certifications; 1 year of experience
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, stoop, lift 20‑lb; may lift up to 50‑lb occasionally
• Good stress‑management skills; ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
