TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an assignment in Sanford, Florida. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour day shifts. The role is a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceutical agents and administer them to patients prior to imaging.
• Provide technical support to physicians, patients, and researchers in the use of radioactive drugs.
• Obtain required approval and signatures from nuclear medicine physicians.
• Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures.
• Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera.
• Perform procedures, including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist.
• Provide assistance to patients during procedures.
• Ensure the environment is safe for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB‑CNMT.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
