Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment requiring PET experience and Siemens equipment proficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Prior PET imaging experience required
• BLS and ARRT(N) certification plus state license required, or CNMT certification required
• PET certification preferred
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
• Virginia state license required; active license in hand accepted, with emergency authorization available while permanent VA license processes
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Acute care teaching hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
• Position focuses on PET/CT imaging
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with flexible start times
• No call requirements
• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
• Uses Siemens equipment
• Utilizes Epic charting system
• Facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Magnet-designated, and certified stroke center with over 700 licensed beds
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted; radius requirements apply
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront with the application
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning as a traveler
• Facility does not allow travelers to return after working 365 days on assignment, regardless of separation period
