American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB registration and recent travel experience for a 13-week contract in Minot, ND.
Requirements
- ARRT or NMTCB registered, or registry pending
- NDMIRTBE license or temporary license required if applicable
- Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist
- Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
- Recent travel experience required
- Cerner experience strongly preferred
- Resume, skills checklist, and proof of licensure required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Nuclear Medicine department performing mostly general imaging studies
- Stress tests, HIDA, Bone, and PET/CT experience helpful but not required
- 5x8 AM shift schedule, 40 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- 13-week contract length
- Performs Nuclear Medicine studies, and prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under Radiologist direction
- Performs quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment per hospital policy
- Follows radiation safety techniques and policies for receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive material
- Responsible for proper charging of procedures through the hospital information system
- Local candidates not accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule
