American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with CNMT certification and Epic EMR experience for a hospital-based day shift role with no weekends or call.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification
- CNMT and NMTCB certification required
- License required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience drawing venous blood and starting/maintaining IVs
- Proficient in isolation precautions and PPE use
- Experience storing, handling, and disposing of radioactive materials
Responsibilities
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department serving adult patients
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- No weekends or call required
- Uses Epic EMR, Philips, and Siemens imaging equipment
- Performs gastric emptying, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, 3-phase and whole body bone scans
- Performs cerebral blood flow, liver flow, and liver imaging studies
- Performs perfusion, ventilation/perfusion, flow/function, and renal perfusion studies with Lasix
- Performs brain and liver scans, cancer survey, and uptake scans
- Performs limited, adenosine infusion, exercise/rest-single, and pharmacological stress studies
- Time off requests must be submitted upfront with the initial application
