Responsibilities



  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered, including bone scans and other standard nuclear medicine studies.

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitor for adverse reactions, ensuring patient safety and ALARA practices.

  • Calibrate, operate, and perform basic quality control on gamma cameras and related imaging equipment.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate procedure notes, imaging reports, and patient records in the appropriate systems.

  • Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care and imaging results.

  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines in a hospital setting.



Requirements



  • Active California license to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology (NM license)

  • Nuclear Medicine (NM) license as applicable

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Ability to work a Days shift in a hospital setting

  • Willingness to participate in a 15-week travel assignment
