Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Dyer, Indiana.

Job Responsibilities

Role includes preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with radiation safety standards.

• Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and address questions.
• Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment to create images as ordered by physicians.
• Document procedures in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules, policies, and radiation safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.

Required Qualifications

• One year’s experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Current license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Other certifications or licenses as required for this position.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, and proficiency with PCs.
• Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend.

• Technical skills to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about during procedures.
• Mental resilience to cope with frequent public contact, deadlines under pressure, occasional supervision, irregular activity schedules, and continuous concentration on detail.
• Sensory ability: visual acuity and communication skills.
