Job Summary
Nuclear Medicine Technologist position located in Towson, Maryland. This role involves performing high-volume outpatient and inpatient nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The position requires a qualified professional to support advanced diagnostic procedures on adult and geriatric patients within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist (N), ARRT Radiography (R)), current BLS certification, State license in Maryland, 2 years of experience, and the ability to perform specialized nuclear procedures
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with GE equipment, SPEC CTG850, and prior expertise in high scan load environments
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the specialty, other units, and sister healthcare facilities within scope
  • Weekend and On-Call: Every other weekend and weekday on-call coverage required, including two shifts per week from 4 PM to 10 PM and weekend on-call from 7 AM to 10 PM, alternating every other week
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable working with high scan volumes, handling radioactive materials, and operating GE equipment. The successful candidate will participate in patient preparation, perform imaging procedures, and adhere to safety protocols. Orientation includes 24 hours of training prior to start date.
