Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,446 per week

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Tech will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and capturing high-quality imaging studies for physicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required
• State licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
• Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus

Contract Details

• $2,240 – $2,446 per week (estimated weekly)
• 13 weeks, with possibility to extend
• Hospital setting
• 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days
