Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PET/CT) with 2+ years experience and required PET, Siemens, and Epic experience for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Acute care teaching hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
- Performs PET Scan procedures using Siemens equipment
- 3x12 hour day shifts, Monday-Wednesday, from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM with flexible start times as early as 6:30 AM
- No call requirements
- Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Prior PET experience required
- BLS and ARRT(N) certification required, or CNMT certification required, with PET certification preferred
- Active state license required; license required if applicable
- Virginia state license required, with emergency authorization available for travelers holding an active license from another state while permanent VA licensure is processing
- Siemens equipment experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
Additional Information
- Facility is a Level I Trauma Center with Magnet designation and certified stroke center status, featuring over 700 licensed beds
- Facility allows 1 call-off shift per 2 weeks
- All RTO requests must be submitted upfront with the application
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility, based on driver's license address, are considered local
- Previous employees must have a minimum one-year gap before returning as a traveler
- Travelers who have worked 365 days on assignment at this facility are not eligible to return, regardless of separation period, with exceptions reviewed case-by-case by facility leadership
