Details
- Work setting is a Level III Special Care Nursery (SCN) in a hospital environment
- Neonatal patient population including infants with medical and/or surgical conditions
- Admissions include infants born at the facility as well as evaluated transfer requests from other hospitals
- Equipment includes ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, warmer beds, and isolettes
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
- Current AHA BLS and NRP certifications required (must not be expired)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a neonatal specialty setting
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in employment at this facility before being considered
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
