Travel MRI/X-Ray Technologist - $2,258 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Kealakekua, Hawaii.

Job Summary

Travel MRI Technologist – 13 week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts. Immediate start in Kealakekua, HI.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and ensure image accuracy.
• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests.
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and interpret doctor instructions.
• Position patients using immobilisation and protective equipment.
• Assist radiologist during procedures.
• Initiate IVs, administer contrast media per protocol.
• Evaluate scan quality, collate and label images.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media.
• Follow safety procedures for radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience as MRI Technologist.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT national certification and BLS certification.
• Registration in magnetic resonance imaging and state‑specific licensing when required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for extended periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
