American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- AHA certifications only
- Experience with Philips MRI equipment required
- License required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
Responsibilities
- Level III Trauma facility with 286 staffed beds
- MRI department position
- 5x8 hour evening shifts, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
- Possible weekend work if participating in on-call rotation
- On-call rotation required among staff members, weekdays 6 PM to 5:30 AM and weekends from Saturday 5:30 AM through Monday 5:30 AM
- No floating required between units or sister facilities
- Uses Philips MRI equipment
- Charting completed in Epic
- No radiation badge required
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Black pants and teal top required for scrub attire
- Free parking available
- Block scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
- Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
- During hurricane season (June through November, peaking August and September), employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
