Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ years of experience and Siemens MRI experience for a 13-week contract in adult acute care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State license required if applicable
• IV start skills required
• Cardiac MRI experience preferred
• Cerner charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care setting in the MRI department
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required, or option to work as a weekend warrior
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Siemens MRI equipment experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Scrubs must be black, hunter green, or khaki
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility, with candidates between 75-100 miles considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate
• Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from their last employment date before returning as a traveler
• Current employees of the health system (including affiliated hospitals) are not eligible for travel contracts within the system
• Non-billable orientation modules required prior to start date, averaging 8 hours to complete
