Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for a 13-week assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MR and BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• License required if applicable
• Experience performing MRA, MRV, and MRCP studies
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Experience starting peripheral IVs and following isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Experience in large healthcare facility settings required
• Must provide two professional references and permanent address at time of consideration

Responsibilities

• Work in the MRI department performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Patient population includes adult acute care, adult ICU, adult and pediatric outpatient, ER/trauma, and pediatric acute care cases
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine, chest, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular imaging
• Utilizes Philips and Siemens MRI equipment
• 5x8 night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM
• No on-call requirements
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Facility does not accept local candidates; permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff are not eligible for consideration for 10 years following separation
• RTO limited to 2 requests per contract
• Travelers completing 2 consecutive contracts must take a 6-month break before returning, with exceptions considered case-by-case
• Pre-start orientation modules are required prior to beginning the assignment
