Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ years of Level II trauma hospital experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required, including Level II trauma hospital experience
• ARRT MR and/or ARMRIT certification required; either specialty certification accepted
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required for consideration
• Level I trauma, teaching hospital, community hospital, and LTAC experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Skills required include peripheral IV insertion, contrast media preparation/administration, and radiation safety protocols
• Military-issued certifications accepted; AHA certification preferred; ARC certification not accepted

Responsibilities

• Level II trauma hospital setting with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/Trauma work areas
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday through Monday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call required for one weekend per month
• Uses Epic for charting, along with GE and Siemens MRI equipment and PACS
• Performs abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and specialized MRI imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and cardiac MRI with/without contrast
• Candidates may request up to 5 non-consecutive RTO days, subject to management approval prior to contract signing
• Only one holiday RTO request will be considered during the November through January holiday season
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of the facility are considered local and may be offered a reduced bill rate
• State-issued ID, SSN, and DOB required for consideration
• Completion of required training modules is expected prior to start, with any remaining modules finished during orientation and annually
