American Traveler is hiring a Lead MRI Technologist with 1+ years of experience to oversee workflow, scheduling, and safety governance in a radiology satellite unit.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start of assignment
- License required if applicable
Responsibilities
- Radiology-MRI satellite unit setting
- Lead MRI position with shifting focus from routine scanning to regulatory oversight, workflow optimization, scheduling, and high-risk safety governance
- Day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- On-call coverage split among team members, 3-4 nights per week
- Holiday coverage required for on-call only, on a rotating basis
- Uses GE MRI machines, Epic, and Change PACS systems
- Responsibilities include regulatory oversight, workflow optimization, scheduling, and high-risk safety governance in addition to scanning duties
- Accepts local candidates at a reduced rate due to facility radius rule
