Travel MRI Technologist - $3,029 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a summer contract in La Jolla, California.

Assignment Overview

• Start date: 07/13/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hour evening shifts (2:00 PM–10:30 PM), 5 days a week with one overnight on‑call shift per week
• Employment type: travel

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations on patients following all safety and quality protocols.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning.
• Assist technologists with IV starts, venipuncture, and patient positioning.
• Document findings and maintain patient records.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MRI) certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• CRT (California Radiologic Technology) certificate required.
• CA Venipuncture certification required.
• Proficiency with IV starts required.
• Licensed as an Audiologist/Technologist if applicable.
• Full 7‑year work history with all gaps explained.
• Two professional references from within the past 2 years.
