Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry, Tehachapi. Provides coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned groups of patients while applying established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and uses critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA-ACLS) or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
• Additional Information: Delivers patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates care with patients, families, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team; provides health education; participates in discharge planning; delegates appropriately; and supervises and coordinates the activities of assigned nursing staff.
