Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license and must meet all certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience.
• Must have an active Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
