Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 16‑week travel nursing assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The role involves delivering comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for medical‑surgical telemetry patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor telemetry patients and coordinate with medical staff for any changes in patient condition.
- Administer IV medications, perform EKGs, and facilitate procedures as dictated by patient needs and protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a high standard of care and support professional growth.
- Participate in code response activities and rapid response teams as necessary.
Required Experience & Credentials
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Medical‑Surgical Telemetry (progressive care experience preferred).
- Current RN license and certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS (to be obtained prior to start).
- Experience using the EPIC documentation system within the last 2 years.
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.
