Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse - $1,724 per week

Job Overview

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse (RN Med Surg) for an assignment in Jasper, Tennessee, starting May 25, 2026. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, travel type.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• At least 18 months of recent acute care Med/Surg experience
• Other client‑specific requirements to be determined

Duties & Responsibilities

Med‑Surg nurses provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures and for patients receiving pharmaceutical management for illness. They must be well‑versed in a broad range of health conditions.

• Complete assignments made by physicians
• Provide routine and post‑surgical care
• Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments
• Administer medication
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medications and treatments to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians, and other team members
