Travel Mammography Technologist - Mammography

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a hospital-based outpatient setting requiring ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications along with at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required, BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography
• Montana Mammography Technologist (MT RT) license required prior to starting, if applicable
• Experience with 3-D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Fine Needle Aspiration, Screening Mammograms preferred
• Experience with Needle Localizations and Stereotactic Biopsy preferred
• Knowledge of Digital Quality Assurance Procedures and Radiation Safety
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment preferred
• References required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography setting within a hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• No floating to affiliate hospitals unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
• Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures including 3-D and digital mammography
• Candidates must live within 75 miles of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent employees must have a 2-year break in service before being eligible for consideration
• Background check findings will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
