Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Salinas, California. Start date 07/06/2026, 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour evening shifts (13:30‑22:00). Employment type: Travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform mammograms and bone density studies.
- Assist radiologists with needle localization, stereotactic biopsies, and galactograms.
- Adhere to Radiation Practice Standards, ACR, and MQSA guidelines.
- Maintain quality assurance activities with Hologic Selenia and AGFA Printer.
- Assist with scheduling, documentation, and emergency response when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff and comply with safety and departmental policies.
Requirements
- Completion of a two‑year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the AMA.
- Current Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) (Radiography and Mammography) certification.
- ARRT (Radiography) registration.
- BLS/Healthcare Provider status per American Heart Association standards.
- Six to twelve months of Epic experience within the past year.
- One year of experience as a licensed mammography technologist.
