Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This role will provide radiographic services to support breast cancer screening and diagnostic imaging.

Required Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Current state license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Position patient appropriately for imaging procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure machines function properly
• Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed for diagnostic accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures
• Practice infection prevention: hand hygiene, PPE, isolation precautions
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice for Mammography Technologists

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions; PC skills
• Physical stamina: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
• Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism
• Technical: fine manipulation, movement, equipment handling during procedures
• Mental: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain focus on detail
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
