Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This role will provide radiographic services to support breast cancer screening and diagnostic imaging.

Required Qualifications
- One year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current state license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
- Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
- Position patient appropriately for imaging procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment; ensure machines function properly
- Monitor image quality during procedures and adjust as needed for diagnostic accuracy
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
- Follow hospital policies, safety regulations, and infection control procedures
- Practice infection prevention: hand hygiene, PPE, isolation precautions
- Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice for Mammography Technologists
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions; PC skills
- Physical stamina: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
- Interpersonal: work effectively with diverse personnel while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical: fine manipulation, movement, equipment handling during procedures
- Mental: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision, handle irregular activity schedules, maintain focus on detail
- Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication
