Travel Mammography Technologist - $2,446 per week

Job Description

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Carmel, Indiana. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Conduct mammography studies and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures, determining necessary adjustments for optimum results.
• Develop mammograms, observe results, retake mammograms as required, and forward completed studies to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
• Stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography, and state‑specific licensing when required.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean or stoop for long periods of time.

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
