Job Opportunity – Mammography Technologist – Eureka, CA 95501

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Eureka, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 17:30), 13-week assignment with 40 hours of orientation

Highlights:

• Perform mammography screenings, diagnostic exams, and stereotactic biopsies in a supportive radiology department
• Work with advanced imaging technology including Hologic 3D mammography systems and digital quality assurance procedures
• Serve adult and geriatric patient populations with comprehensive breast imaging services
• Opportunity to utilize specialized skills including fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and patient education
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
• Holiday commitment required: must work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Requirements:

• Valid California state license or compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Previous travel healthcare experience required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Experience with 3-D mammography, Hologic 3D systems, digital mammography, stereotactic biopsy, and PACS/Synapse systems
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Clean background check required
• Candidates must reside outside 50-mile local radius
