We are looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in West Burlington, IA. The ideal RN should have 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly.
- Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences.
- Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Qualifications
- At least one year of RN experience in a Long-Term Care setting.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
- Eligibility for State licensure.
- Additional certifications may be required.
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend to be determined. TotalMed Travel Job ID # .
