Travel Long Term Acute Care (RN) - $1,924 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a permanent 13‑week assignment in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

We’re looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) for an immediate travel opening in a Long‑Term Acute Care (LTAC) facility in Tulsa, OK. The right RN should have at least one year of recent experience in a Long‑Term Acute Care or similar high‑acuity setting. The assignment is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, with 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer IV medications, manage central lines, and monitor vital signs and lab results
• Provide ventilator and tracheostomy care, as well as advanced wound management
• Collaborate with respiratory therapists, physicians, and case managers for ongoing treatment plans
• Support patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutritional needs
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensuring proper patient care delivery
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and facility safety standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and communicate patient status updates
• Document all care activities and interventions accurately and in real time
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an RN in a Long‑Term Acute Care setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for state licensure. Additional certifications may be required.
