Within 7:00 AM–4:00 PM; rotating weekends/holidays Target Start:
September 2026 Pay:
$58–$62/hour base pay Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, test, and treat speech, voice, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans and provide rehabilitation, counseling, consultation, and resident/family education. Screen new admissions for diet and swallowing safety. Recommend appropriate diets, positioning, compensatory strategies, and adaptive tools. Participate in care-plan and discharge-planning meetings. Coordinate with nursing, dietary, medical providers, residents, and families. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Minimum Qualifications
Current
New York State SLP or Audiologist license
appropriate to the assigned scope. Minimum
3 years of supervised speech therapy experience . Skilled nursing, geriatric, dysphagia, cognitive-communication, memory-care, or long-term-care experience preferred. Complete facility credentialing, including license/credentials, physical exam, and TB/PPD documentation. Ability to maintain confidentiality and complete documentation in the electronic health record. Strong collaboration skills with nursing, medical, social services, residents, families, VA, and outside vendors.
