Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform routine and advanced nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures in a hospital setting. The technologist will safely prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, acquire high-quality diagnostic images, ensure radiation safety compliance, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely.
- Operate gamma cameras and nuclear imaging equipment.
- Position patients and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures for safety and comfort.
- Process and review images prior to physician interpretation.

Follow radiation safety and ALARA guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist License/Registration
- ARRT (N) or CNMT Certification (or board eligible)
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Hospital nuclear medicine experience
- Ability to participate in evening and weekend on-call rotation
