BLS (AHA), PICC If the candidate is certified and can do PICCS, they would work day shift either 6am-6pm or 7am-7pm. An IV Therapist RN that is NOT certified in PICCS would be rotating shifts. They ideally need someone who is certified to insert PICCS and do guided ultrasound. If the candidate is certified and can do this, they would work day shift either 6am-6pm or 7am-7pm. If you find an IV Therapist RN that is NOT certified in PICCS then it would be rotating shifts.
