Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring critical care/Angio-IR experience and stroke/trauma care skills at a Level 1 Trauma and Certified Stroke Center.
Details
- Work in the Angiography/IR - Interventional Labs unit within the Heart and Vascular Tower
- Unit consists of 3 Angiography Labs (2 dedicated IR Labs and 1 Hybrid OR)
- 1:1 patient ratio with team-based staffing of Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS
- Uses IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream equipment
- Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
- 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
- Procedures performed include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma cases
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Interventional Radiology required
- Critical care/Angio-IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
- ICU/ER experience required
- Critical care gtt management skills required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Angiography/IR setting
- Work within a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
- Required uniform: Royal blue and black for RNs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
