The inpatient Speech Language Pathologist (SLP IP) position is located in the state of California. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services within an inpatient setting. The candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for patients across varied age groups, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and facility protocols.
Job Details:
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The position begins on 09/08/2026.
Required Qualifications: Certified Speech Language Pathologist with a Masters or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution; valid or eligible California licensure; BLS certification; 1 year of experience; experience with inpatient rehabilitation or hospital-based speech therapy; must have experience with speech and language assessments.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with diverse patient populations; familiarity with electronic charting systems typical in hospital environments.
Additional Information: The role entails working in an inpatient facility with interdisciplinary support. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to manage a varied caseload. Orientation hours and modules are required during onboarding, lasting approximately 1-5 hours, completed via e-learning.
