Job Summary
nPharmacist Inpatient (PHARM IP) The organization is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist for a day shift position at a medical facility location. This role involves comprehensive medication management in a hospital setting, ensuring accurate patient care and safety standards are maintained.

Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves working in a hospital unit with a 150-bed capacity, supporting daily medication operations using Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Pyxis medication dispensing. The pharmacist will handle responsibilities related to inpatient medication administration and safety protocols.

• Required Qualifications: Certification in IV medication administration, pharmacy licensure in Texas, and pharmacy technician certification and registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).

• Schedule: Dayshift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
n
• Additional Information: Candidates without IV certification and Texas pharmacy licensure will not be considered. The position is a temporary assignment lasting from October 19, 2026, to January 18, 2027, with no on-call requirements. The pharmacist may work in a setting that requires adaptability, including supporting coverage with a 7 on/7 off schedule for a pharmacy technician position, including weekend rotations.
