HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE CONSIDERED, HOWEVER IT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED
Unit ICU - ICU/Trauma ICU
# Beds: 30 beds
Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1 to 1-2, 90% of the time will be 1 to 2 ratio
Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS & ACLS are required. PALS is preferred. If traveler would stay longer than 6 months, PALS would be required after 6 months
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Trauma - travelers must have this experience, neuro-strokes, head injuries, ventriculostomies, ICP monitoring - candidates MUST have experience with ICP monitoring and ventrics if they do not have this experience then they MUST have experience with post-TPA pts
Experience or 'Must have' skills: "Candidates must have 2-3 yrs in specialty. Previous travel experience preferred.
