CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK 2 OF THE 3 MAJOR HOLIDAYS

- Unit: ICU
- # beds: 32 (licensed for 40). Set up in pods of 8
- Certs: BLS, ACLS. NIHSS.
- Ratios: 2:1
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: Yes - no patient assignment. Also a Resource RN that may take a patient assignment.
- Nurse Aides: Usually 1 on days only.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Yes - rotate with core staff.
- Scrub Color: RN-Navy Blue, NA- Hunter Green
- Tele/Monitor Techs: No monitor techs. RNs read and interpret own strips.
- Drips: Yes - pressors, antiarrhythmics, sedation, etc.
- Vents: Yes
