American Traveler is hiring a Home Health Occupational Therapist near Hood River, OR requiring 1+ year of skilled home health experience and both active WA and OR licensure. Details
Home health setting serving Hood River, OR and surrounding areas Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Visit up to 6 patients per day with a standard of 30 productivity points No weekend requirement No on-call requirement No floating between like units required Charting completed via EPIC Remote Client for Home Health on laptop and Rover phone app, along with OASIS documentation Patient population includes diagnoses such as dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, MS, orthopedic post-op, and post-stroke cases Requirements
Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required Active WA and OR occupational therapy licensure required (license required if applicable) BLS certification required OASIS documentation experience required EPIC charting experience preferred Reliable personal transportation required for daily patient visits Additional Information
Patient caseload includes diagnoses such as dementia, Parkinson's disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, orthopedic post-op recovery, and post-stroke rehabilitation Scheduling system groups clients to minimize drive time, though occasional daily travel radius may reach up to 60 miles (60-90 minutes total drive time) Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not mandatory and no specific color required Free parking available Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate First-time travelers accepted with prior home health experience Local candidates accepted within a 50-75 mile radius at the same pay rate Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)
