Day Shift 8 hours/day 5 days/week

Call required and alternating weekends

Contract-RN-GI/ENDO Lab

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds -2

· Number of Staff – 1 FT RN, 1 PT RN, 1 PRN RN-on orientation, 1 FT tech-Traveler, 2 PT techs

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – 2 RN's, 2-3 Techs depending on case load

o Night Shift -

· Patient Ratios – 1:1

· Type of equipment – Olympus scopes, Medivator, Scope Buddy 2

· EMR -Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP Procedures

· Able to perform Moderate sedation with another RN

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· Bronchoscopy, EBUS

·

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

· EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP's, Bronchoscopies, EBUS, Robotic bronchoscopies

· Occasional thoracentesis, pleur-X Placement

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS

· Scrub Color/Attire – Ceal Blue-can wear hospital scrubs

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.

· Call 2-3 days a week plus call every 3 rd weekend
