Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment providing critical care to patients in an emergency setting. This position will involve floating to ICU when necessary.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in an electronic medical record (EMR).
• Float to ICU as required and provide care in accordance with hospital policies.

• Shift Type: Nights
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Average Daily Patient Volume: 35 patients
• Number of Beds: 11 beds with 1 trauma bay
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC

This position is within a Critical Access Hospital. Candidates should be prepared to float among multiple locations within the region as needed.
