Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be prepared to handle a variety of situations in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on severity of conditions.
• Administer emergency medications and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Conduct procedural sedation and manage ventilated patients.
• Care for trauma patients and assist with psych holds.
• Provide pediatric emergency care as needed.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and manage medications through Pyxis system.
• Float to other units as required and assist the healthcare team in various roles.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, stroke-certified, and STEMI-certified facility preferred.
• Strong ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage emergency procedures.
• Comfortable with triage, trauma care, psych holds, and pediatric emergencies.
• Ohio RN license required.

• Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 1:3.5
• 36 hours of orientation provided.
• Eligible for first-time travelers.
• Uniform: Navy scrubs.
