Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience is a hardstop requirement.
• Previous Charge Experience is preferred.
• Community Hospital Experience is required.
• LTAC Experience is preferred.
• Trauma Level I and Level II Experience are preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience is required (valid state license must be in hand at submission).
• Certifications:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Skills:
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Central line care/management
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Triage
• Charting System Experience: Required, specifically Epic.
• Licensing: Valid Compact License must be in hand at submission.
• References Required: 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start. Can include Charge RNs/Lead.

• Special Requirements:
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications required.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD).
• Patient Ratios:
• Days: 1:3
• Nights: 1:3
• Weekends: 1:3
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Other Requirements:
• Must request all time off/specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal.
• Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract.
• Travelers expected to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
