Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel POSITION TITLE Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) – Adult & Pediatric REQUIRED EXPERIENCE 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience – Preferred. General compliance requires at least 1 year of experience; however, candidates with 2 years should be prioritized. Level I Trauma experience – Strongly recommended. Must be comfortable treating both adult and pediatric emergency patients. Epic charting experience – Preferred. Previous travel experience is not explicitly required. Must be comfortable working in a high-volume Emergency Department. SCHEDULE Shift: Days. Hours: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts. Weekly scheduled hours: 36. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS All four are mandatory and must be issued by the American Heart Association where specified: ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) PALS (AHA) TNCC Preferred Certifications ENPC. NIHSS. CPI. LICENSE Valid Michigan RN license – Mandatory.
