Job Details
- Position Description: Must have 2+ years of current ER experience and experience working in a Critical Access Hospital. Candidates must be willing to float to Med/Surg Stepdown units; experience in charge nursing is highly preferred. The role involves approximately 60% ER and 40% critical access charge (backup to the Med/Surg Emergency Department).
- Certifications and Education Requirements: Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); current licenses must be verified; all certifications and licenses must be current at time of submission.
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Emergency Room experience of at least 2 years, experience working in a Critical Access Hospital, current certifications as listed, work history with Emergency Room skills, and valid license verification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience and prior charge nursing experience.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility. Housing arrangements should be explored prior to submission due to potential housing challenges. Submission must include all required documentation, including active licenses and certifications, work history with ER skills checklist, supervisory reference from the past year, and a valid permanent address.
