Travel RN - Emergency Room (FSED) Night Shift 13-Week Contract

Rockport, TX Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Contract 13 Weeks Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Includes Weekends Projected Start: October 19, 2026

• Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting with a patient ratio of 3-4 patients per nurse
• Perform procedures including IV placement, blood draws, EKG, Foley catheter insertion, orthopedic splinting, and wound care
• Operate and monitor unit equipment including vital sign machines, BiPAP, ventilators, nebulizers, ortho glass, and AED
• Document patient care accurately using MEDITECH EMR
• Function as a collaborative team member on a night shift team of 3 RNs, including charge nurse coverage
• Float within the FSED as needed

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of emergency department experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Experience in a freestanding or traditional emergency department setting

• Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED)
• Familiarity with MEDITECH EMR
• Strong team-oriented work style with the ability to adapt in a small, fast-paced unit
