Travel RN - Emergency Room (Nights)

Hickory, NC Acute Care

Contract 13 Weeks Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Expected 36 hours/week Rotating weekends

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed Emergency Department serving a birth-to-death patient population in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Apply critical care thinking and clinical skills across a broad range of diagnoses and treatments, including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma presentations
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 while delivering strong patient and family experience
• Operate and document within the Cerner EHR system
• Float to other areas as needed based on established competencies
• Adhere to call requirements, which may include push-back hours depending on census

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• ACLS certification required
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Cerner EHR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required - first-time travelers are not eligible
• Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

• Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Clinical experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
• Energetic, knowledgeable, and able to maintain stamina in a high-volume environment
