Travel RN - Emergency Department

Houston, TX Acute Care - Emergency Department

Contract 13-Week Travel Assignment Days, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Every other weekend required Projected Start: October 19, 2026

• Provide direct patient care in a 50-bed Emergency Department operating as a Trauma II facility and Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio while delivering high-acuity emergency and trauma care
• Perform trauma and ED procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, LVNs, Paramedics, PCTs, and BHTs
• Utilize GE Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Meditech EMR to document and manage patient care
• Participate in every other weekend rotation as required by unit scheduling

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required

• Prior trauma nursing experience
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Team-oriented with a positive, collaborative attitude

• Opportunity to work in a high-acuity, Trauma II Emergency Department that is pursuing Magnet designation and recognized as a Chest Pain Center and Pathway to Excellence facility
