Responsibilities

• The Dialysis nurse (RN) administers life‑prolonging dialysis procedures, supports, medicates, and monitors patients throughout dialysis, and educates them on kidney disease and disease management.
• Provide care for patients undergoing dialysis procedures.
• Review patient data and make recommendations to the physician for care.
• Initiate a plan of care based on individual patient needs, and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Dialysis setting.
• Active RN License.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
