Travel RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Shift: Days 8-hour shifts
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Seeking an experienced CVOR RN to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular and Thoracic Operating Room team. Nurses must be comfortable circulating in a fast-paced surgical environment and working with a variety of surgeons and complex cardiovascular procedures.

• Monday-Friday, day shift
• 8-hour shifts
• Start time: 6:45 AM
• End time: 3:15 PM or 5:15 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Minimum of 1 weekday call shift per week
• Minimum of 1 full weekend of call per month
• Additional call may be required depending on staffing.
• Holiday call required.
• 30-minute call response time.

• 3 years of CVOR circulating experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong cardiovascular operating room experience.
• Ability to circulate complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.
• Must be comfortable working with multiple surgeons.
• Scrubbing experience preferred but not required.

• 12 CVOR operating suites.
• Approximately 20 cases per day.
• High-acuity Cardiovascular and Thoracic program.
• Approximately 25 surgeons.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• No floating required.

• CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass)
• MVR and AVR (Mitral and Aortic Valve Replacement)
• Kidney transplants
• Thoracic and cardiac robotic procedures
• Peripheral vascular procedures
• Aortic repairs
• Vascular access
• TEVAR/EVAR and TAVR
• Impella and IABP
• ECMO

• Minimum of 1 weekday call shift per week.
• Minimum of 1 full weekend of call per month.
• Additional call may be required based on staffing.
• Holiday call is required.
• 30-minute response time.

• Daily parking: $15+ per day.
• Monthly parking passes: Approximately $95-$120.
• Multiple on-campus and off-campus parking options available.

CVOR RN Day Shift 40 Hours/Week

• 6:45 AM-3:15 PM or 6:45 AM-5:15 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 3 years of CVOR circulating experience required

• Holiday call required
• 30-minute call response time
• No floating
• Epic charting
